In a Facebook post, The Jerusalem Times reported that a video posted on the site was an image of the lyrics to “Beatles Birthday Cake” (in Hebrew) and the song “Let’s Play the Beatles” (Arabic).
According to the post, the original video, uploaded on August 17, 2015, had a video player that played a video of the Beatles’ “Let It Be” at the beginning of the video.
The lyrics were as follows: “The song ‘Let It be’ was written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney.
They wrote it in the autumn of 1967 when the Beatles were on their break from the US.
The lyrics were written in the style of ‘I can’t get my mind off the beautiful song that was written in my head’ by their friend, Stevie Wonder.
We loved to sing along and it became a great song for us.”
According to The Jerusalem Time, the lyrics also had the phrase “in the autumn” as well as the following: “A day when we forget to play it.”
The Jerusalem Post reported that the song was first performed by Paul McCartney on August 5, 1964, and that it was recorded in March 1967.
The song, which has since been remixed and re-released on vinyl, has been remastered on digital formats by R.A. Salvatore in 2015.
