Happy Birthday guy has a new hobby, one that involves calling himself a happy birthday guy.
Happy Birthday Guy, born Paul D’Oliveira, is a busy guy.
He has a number of projects, including a book of hand-drawn calligraphies.
He also has a Twitter account where he posts photos of himself making birthday wishes.
But as the title of his book suggests, Happy Birthday is his new hobby.
“I’ve been doing this for over five years,” he said.
“And I’m still doing it, I’m just not calling it a hobby.”
“I’m actually calling it the hobby of a professional,” he added.
“This is my job.
This is my hobby.”
Mr D’Olivesi said the name Happy Birthday was “an interesting choice of words”.
“It is an interesting choice to be honest, and also it’s a bit of a joke,” he explained.
“To call it a profession is to call it anything.
I’m happy to call myself a calligrapher, I’ve got a phone book, I work in a phone shop, I have a lot of contacts, but this is just a hobby.
I love calling it something else.”
But to call me a birthday guy is just very flattering.
“The name is based on the initials of Mr D’OLIVESI’s father, who died when Happy Birthday boy was only three years old.
But Mr D’s mother, Barbara, said the birthday wishes were “absolutely” not a joke.”
There’s no need for a joke here, it’s the truth.””
They’re true, but they’re also not funny.”
There’s no need for a joke here, it’s the truth.
“But Mr E’Budis, who lives nearby, was not so sure.”
It’s quite funny and it’s true,” he agreed.”
He’s not really happy about it.
But I think it’s fair enough.
“The first thing he said to me was ‘I love calling myself a birthday man’,” he said, adding that his dad would never have named Happy Birthday, but the name was born.
“My father would never name him Happy Birthday,” he told 7.30.
“Happy Birthday is my dad’s name, I just call myself that because it’s funny.”
Happy Birthday guy, who has a book called ‘Happy Birthday’ about his hobby, said he did not have a problem with the name.
“In fact I like it, and I don’t really mind it,” he laughed.
“That’s just the way I’m speaking.
I like the name, it just means Happy.”
Happy birthday guy, whose hobbies include calling himself ‘Happy birthday’ and having a Twitter handle, has since been inundated with phone calls.
Happy birthday girl, who is currently calling herself ‘happy birthday girl’, said the prank was not intended as a serious one.
“People do it, they just don’t realise how serious it is,” she told 7 and a half.
“If I call you happy birthday, you’d think it was a joke.”
Happy day, happy birthday girl!
